Ambolx was part of the Danian expedition to the Nest of Ancestors. Their goal was to make the necessary preparations for Illexia to become the Elder of the Nest when Aszil, her daughter, would ascend as Queen of The Danians. Simultaneously, the High Muges were raising Kaizeph, the Citadel of the Elements. Be it by his connection to the elements or mugical abilities, Ambolx was instantaneously transported to the Citadel, were he would be informed by Lore, the Danian High Muge, of his importance in the upcoming exploration of the Citadel's secrets.[citation needed]
