Bodal seems to be very weak. Everybody makes fun of him for it, and the fact that he's the working and complaining only kind of person. Even though he is weak, in The Thing About Bodal his brain beat Tangath Toborn, after utilizing the passageways of the place they were in.

After Tom and Kaz make a Narrow escape from the Underworlder Spyder, Bodal offers to give them a Scan of the Aerodrone in exchange if Tom uses him in his next battle.
While searching for Maxxor, Tom and Kaz ask him where he is. Bodal refuses to tell them, but slips that the overworlder Zalic has a clue as to his whereabouts.
After Chaor managed to steal the Tele-bracers, he attempted to escape by teleporting to various places around Kiru City. One of the places he teleported to was next to Bodal, who after a grim stare from Chaor, promptly fainted with terror.

Now Bodal (Originally known as Bodla) is a Odd Ball in both appearence and purpose wise. Bodal lives (Technicly) in the Kiru City Arsenal. however his real home is Kiru City. Unlike his original design who lives at "Castle Bodhran". Bodal is very strange in appearence because of his color and odd shaped head. They look similar (Head wise). Bodal considers himself a great asset to Maxxor, Kiru City, and just plain and simple, the OverWorld. But in reality, he isn't. The original Bodal from Now Or Never (Known as Bodla) has very few similarities with the present version. Yes, Bodla is also a Coward, and only goes into battle with a group of other creatures, but other than that he will never leave his home (Castle Bodhran). Bodla is the caretaker of Castle Bodhran. He is the butler, janitor, and personnel of Castle Bodhran. Bodla is a Serpintine creature and is always wearing a Dark Purple Tux.
Outside the castle he is very insecure and constantly requires the protection of others. But at the castle he is indispensable which in that case he makes every thing come together and work out. (As said in Bodla's card description).

Many of the chaotic cards in the subtext use Bodal's calculation abilities in a humorous, yet unfortunate light, much like C-3PO's odds calculations in Star Wars.
